Taylor Humidors

Craftsmanship and attention to detail are built into the very core of our humidors.  The workmanship evident in a Taylor humidor is incomparable and our handcrafted detailing is a Taylor hallmark.  Our humidors are known for their lasting value because we take the time and go to the expense to build the best product possible.  We hand select our wood for spectacular grain patterns.  By sequentially cutting the wood, it allows the grain pattern to flow continuously around the humidor.  Each humidor is handcrafted with splined miter corners to form a six-sided solid box. It is then sanded silky smooth and coated with its first layers of finish. At this point the lid is then finally cut from the humidor. Next it is carefully fitted before being finished with a total of ten to twelve coats of instrument-grade lacquer. The top quality hardware is mortised into place.  Solid brass quadrant hinges are used for unparalleled durability.  The interior is then fully lined with Spanish Cedar and meticulously fit for a proper seal.  Most cigar enthusiasts agree that the Spanish cedar enhances the flavor of the cigar.  Every humidor has the lid seal custom fitted so it softly closes on a cushion of air.  Watching the lid close is an event in itself.  Last but not least the humidor is polished to a mirror finish, signed and numbered.  We want our customers to have the finest quality humidors and will build nothing less.  People who realize "the best is not expensive to own" prefer Taylor Humidors.
